Rand(Nerds); Episode 99

Welcome to Episode 99
We kick off by discussing the upcoming national visit by long term podcast fan Kim due to come  and stay in Skazz house. Plus we briefly go over the crazy copy-write laws we discussed last time much to Middlemeister cringing.
Skazz has start us proper by playing a number of first person shooters starting off with the reboot of Medal of Honor from 2010 which took the WW2 series into the modern day. He then compares it to the single player of Battlefield 3, and has a less pleasant experience with lots of scripted NPC deaths.
TheSuffolkRam then move onto talking about haulage matter with American Truck Simulator. he talk about missing trailers and getting stuck and how the game differs from it predecessor Euro Truck Simulator 2 and is it worth the purchase.
Middlemeister has been playing the recently release Spider Man game, He talks about the new game play, the changes to the story for this version and how poor Wilson Fisk has been reduced to a tutorial villain.
When then briefly look at the news that Google is shutting Google+ for the strange reason of a ‘data breach’.  Plus a quick flashback to our discussion of TellTale game from last episode.
We also talk about the old Konami game Zone Of the Enders, slow AI drivers, the ups and downs of the MGS series plus a revelation from Middlemister about Nier Automata.

Notes:

Skazz’s preferred modern shooter, the rebooted Medal of Honor

A boring heavily scripted FPS with Battlefield 3

Drive big rigs with American Truck Simulator

Defeat all crime in the new Spider Man game
