We then finally get into the main podcast with games with been playing with – as Skazz calls it – ‘Splatoon with boobs’ in Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash. A group of Japanese girls fight in a tournament on the peach beach using water pistols.
TheSuffolkRam has been playing two games, first up is Orwell: Ignorance is Strength the sequel to the Orwell. the game about surveillance and detective work. This games focuses more on the concept of fake news and creating a narrative.
His second game follow on in the ‘strange walking simulator’ genre of game with The Norwood Suite, set in a strange hotel where you have to help people by retrieving items in order to get access to a DJ.
We somehow end up talking about TheSuffolkRam future trip to Bletchley Park and how enigma was cracked.
We finally finish off by discussing the latest voting on the EU directive with it overbearing copy-write laws. Which leads onto a discussion of what makes something successful.
We also discuss the current alive or death status of the characters of Sesame Street and how much games should guide you on.
Skazz carriers on with his Monster Hunter tread with MH: generations Ultimate, which has just been released for the switch. He talks about the difference to the Monster Hunter: World he was discussing last episode and how he prefers the gameplay in this version.
TheSuffolkRam has been curing clowns and shooting rats in Two Point Hospital. The ‘spiritual successor’/’unofficial sequel’ to Theme Hospital. he talks about the mechanics, humor and general fun he having.
Skazz talks about Valves latest update to Steam. The Proton system allows some Windows games to run on Linux. He talks about the new white-list that has been introduced for these game and how it a bit hit or miss.

Next is a rarity, we’ve all talk about the same film ‘Ready Player One’ we all get to approach it different ways with Middlemeister never having read the book, Ram knows a little about the book story line and Skazz who has read and loves the book.

TheSuffolkRam has been exploring a family house and finding out the sad fate of a very strange family in What Remains of Edith Finch. A walking simulator where you explore the stores of each person through different gameplay styles.
TheSuffolkRam has started watching an series about fairy-tale creatures living in our world in ‘Grimm’.
Skazz talks about the recent released film Ready Player One. he’s not seen it yet but is not keen on it based on the things hes seen on the trailer. He talks about the story and the world and the dark future in the book.

Ram carry’s on with watching his foreign language sci-fi TV series with the recently released Dutch TV series The Rain. Following a group of survivors in a world where a deadly virus is spread by water.
we discuss why we haven’t discussing splatfests and what should and shouldn’t be burnt on a fire and what we did during the Mayan apocalypse. Plus at long last, Skazz finally confronts Middlemesiter about Nier Automata. We also talk about the STALKER game series and the book and film its based on. Plus we learn about ruminant biology.
We start off by discussing the long running Ys game series, with Skazz talking about the most recent release Ys VIII, talking about how he has to try and escape from a cursed island by making friends and enemy’s along the way.
TheSuffolkRam has also been trying to escape from an island in the survival game The Forest. We talk about how to create atmosphere in games using the environment and NPCs and how a driving force is needed help encourage playing survival games.
We then move onto discussing our steam summer sales purchase, and for a strange change Ram has been purchased more then Skazz. We go through our lists, Skazz has been having a fighting game addiction and we discuss what controller he recommends. Ram has a more diverse selection including a couple that annoy Skazz
We then move onto TV, with ram first talking about Travelers. created by Stargate producer Brad White. Following a group of people from the future travelling into the past to save themselves.
When then move onto another foreign language TV series with 3%, following a group of 20 year old people taking there once in a lifetime test to escape their poverty stricken world to escape to the futuristic off-shore.

TheSuffolkRam has been playing as a French revolutionary ere falcon in Aviary Attorney. A visual novel heavily inspired by Ace Attorney with a nice drawing style based on Jean Ignace Isidore Gérard (of course i knew that, no Googling involved…..). You defend people at trials and end up taking a part in the revolution.
Skazz and Bard have also been playing Wizard of Legend. a 2D rouge-lite pixel art game. And we talk about about Bloodstain.

Bard has still been playing CRPG with Shadowrun: Dragonfall and Shadowrun: Hong Kong. A cyberpunk meet fantasy RPG based on the tabletop game. Featuring blind ghoul samurai and dragon business leaders. He talks about the differences between the games and his preferred game play style.
Skazz has finally finished Doom 2016, but the big question is; on which platform? He talks about some of the bugs on the different platforms. We also discuss the Nintendo Labo and his kid thoughts on it. He also talks about the battle royal game Radical Heights, style after an 80s game show which reward ‘smashing through the window’ gameplay and we discuss the weirdness between fanbases.
