Welcome to Episode 97
 We kick off by once again discussing burying one of our colleagues and how TheSuffolkRam sleeps at night.
We then finally get into the main podcast with games with been playing with – as Skazz calls it – ‘Splatoon with boobs’  in Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash. A group of Japanese girls fight in a tournament on the peach beach using water pistols.
TheSuffolkRam has been playing two games, first up is Orwell: Ignorance is Strength the sequel to the Orwell. the game about surveillance and detective work. This games focuses more on the concept of fake news and creating a narrative.
His second game follow on in the ‘strange walking simulator’ genre of game with The Norwood Suite, set in a strange hotel where you have to help people by retrieving items in order to get access to a DJ.
We somehow end up talking about TheSuffolkRam future trip to Bletchley Park and how enigma was cracked.
We finally finish off by discussing the latest voting on the EU directive with it overbearing copy-write laws. Which leads onto a discussion of what makes something successful.
We also discuss the current alive or death status of the characters of Sesame Street and how much games should guide you on.

Welcome to Episode 96
Skazz carriers on with his Monster Hunter tread with MH: generations Ultimate, which has just been released for the switch. He talks about the difference to the Monster Hunter: World he was discussing last episode and how he prefers the gameplay in this version.
TheSuffolkRam has been curing clowns and shooting rats in Two Point Hospital. The ‘spiritual successor’/’unofficial sequel’ to Theme Hospital. he talks about the mechanics, humor and general fun he having.
Skazz talks about Valves latest update to Steam. The Proton system allows some Windows games to run on Linux. He talks about the new white-list that has been introduced for these game and how it a bit hit or miss.
Middlemesiter briefly talks about the upcoming Dark Souls Trilogy collection, Skazz and Middlemesiter talk about this hard and painful game and the joy it brings them.
TheSuffolkRam talks about a couple of TV series, first up is Mars, a half documentary/drama about how we will colonize Mars. He then moves onto Disenchantment, Matt Groening most recent animation series that try to do for fantasy what Futurama did for Sci-Fi

Welcome to Episode 95

We start by discussing our upcoming north Korean Episode (if you have no idea what your talking about, it make no more sense in context)
Skazz has been playing the recent PC version of Monster Hunter World, he talk about the (lack) of changes from playing the PS4 version
Middlemeister has been playing a Rougelike/metroidvania game exploring a ever-changing castle and tickling corpses in Dead Cells.
TheSuffolkRam returns to an old game with S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadow of Chernobyl with the Complete Mod that was finished in 2009. He talk’s about it long running history and and it in depth but buggy world.
Next is a rarity, we’ve all talk about the same film ‘Ready Player One’ we all get to approach it different ways with Middlemeister never having read the book, Ram knows a little about the book story line and Skazz who has read and loves the book.
We also make BT worry about Skazz internet browsing history and we get to see a vision of Ram future in a care home

Welcome to Episode 94

Skazz has been channeling his inner shining dragon with Shining Resonance Refrain. An Action RPG where he has to defeat an evil empire, and he believes is a hidden gem that being overlooked.

TheSuffolkRam has been exploring a family house and finding out the sad fate of a very strange family in What Remains of Edith Finch. A walking simulator where you explore the stores of each person through different gameplay styles.

TheSuffolkRam has started watching an series about fairy-tale creatures living in our world in ‘Grimm’.

Skazz talks about the recent released film Ready Player One. he’s not seen it yet but is not keen on it based on the things hes seen on the trailer. He talks about the story and the world and the dark future in the book.

We also discuss Ram’s laptop and how badly broken it is.

After finishing Ys VII, skazz has moved onto playing the original turbo cd version of Ys 1. he talks about old school game design and the various differences between the each version.

Middlemeister has been playing the most recent Assassin Creed  game: Origins. me talk about it changes form the rest of the series, and how Ubisoft games are designed. We also talk about pimping camels.

TheSuffolkRam has been been trying to survive as a civilian in a war torn country in This War of Mine. he talks about trying to survive and losing his humanity.

Middlemeister has been watching a Fringe, a J.J. Abrams series that has been talked about on Podcast before,  Middlemeister gives us his take on it. We also discuss the currently of popularity of Doctor Who

Ram carry’s on with watching his foreign language sci-fi TV series with the recently released Dutch TV series The Rain. Following a group of survivors in a world where a deadly virus is spread by water.

we discuss why we haven’t discussing splatfests and what should and shouldn’t be burnt on a fire and what we did during the Mayan apocalypse. Plus at long last, Skazz finally confronts Middlemesiter about Nier Automata. We also talk about the STALKER game series and the book and film its based on. Plus we learn about ruminant biology.

Welcome to Episode 92

We start off by discussing the long running Ys game series, with Skazz talking about the most recent release Ys VIII, talking about how he has to try and escape from a cursed island by making friends and enemy’s along the way.

TheSuffolkRam has also been trying to escape from an island in the survival game The Forest. We talk about how to create atmosphere in games using the environment and NPCs and how a driving force is needed help encourage playing survival games.

We then move onto discussing our steam summer sales purchase, and for a strange change Ram has been purchased more then Skazz. We go through our lists, Skazz has been having a fighting game addiction and we discuss what controller he recommends.  Ram has a more diverse selection including a couple that annoy Skazz

We then move onto TV, with ram first talking about Travelers. created by Stargate producer Brad White. Following a group of people from the future travelling into the past to save themselves.

When then move onto another foreign language TV series with 3%, following a group of 20 year old people taking there once in a lifetime test to escape their poverty stricken world to escape to the futuristic off-shore.

Welcome to Episode 91

We kick off with us discussing Ram loudly updating dell laptop, and the joys of Windows update and how electronic devices are made, plus the joy of fixing other peoples PC’s.

TheSuffolkRam talks about our first game this week: The Room. Like a reverse escape room where he has to try and break into first a safe and then into the boxes within. We also discuss Ram’s first try at streaming on Twitch.

Skazz has a shock when Ram reveals hes never heard of the game Flashback, before moving onto discussing the various fighting games hes been playing including BlazBlue and Tekken Tag Tournament.

We talk about our recent 24 hours live stream, what we liked and our plans for changes going forward.

Ram then talks about the recent Netflix series Altered Carbon, a classic style Sci-Fi about human consciousness being able to freely transfer between bodies and the implications on society.

We also talk about how much we love speed running witch devolves into a discussion of the upcoming Fallout 76 and how we feel about playing an always online Fallout game. Plus the unknown downsides of wearing power Armour. Also, how Peter Molyneux is kept under control

Important Announcement: Sorry guys, I Screwed up. I forgot to release this podcast before our 24 hour live stream so we talk about something that’s already happened. Sorry

Welcome to Episode 90

We carry on discussing Shroud of the Avatar from lost podcast with Bard discussing the deck system, and Skazz talking about been crafting and  breaking into musician guild and stealing pianos. We also talk about how users have help developed the game, and the friendliness of the community.

TheSuffolkRam has been playing as a French revolutionary ere falcon in Aviary Attorney. A visual novel heavily inspired by Ace Attorney with a nice drawing style based on Jean Ignace Isidore Gérard (of course i knew that, no Googling involved…..). You defend people at trials and end up taking a part in the revolution.

Skazz and Bard have also been playing Wizard of Legend. a 2D rouge-lite pixel art game. And we talk about about Bloodstain.

We also discuss out 24hour livestream that took place on the 9th June

Plus we offend some Swedish people and Bard proves where he gets his Handle from by treating us to some singing. We also discuss our like/dislike of Disney films

Both Skazz and Bard have been playing Shroud Of The Avatar, primary developed by Richard Garriott of the Ultima series. An MMO with offline features. The pair discuss the game virtues, and the annoyance of games trying to guess your preferred class. As well as crazy fall damage and weird looking NPC’s

TheSuffolkRam has been dipping into a couple of games. The first is Jalopy, a game involving travelling across Europe with your uncle in a car the always on the verge of breaking down, featuring a boot organizing simulator.

Secondly, he been balancing his time keep a city safe and avoiding the Mafia in This is the Police, trying to earn 500k in just 180 days.

We talk about our 24 hour livestream planned for June, and how we are going to torture each other with games.

TheSuffolkRam talk about upcoming Russian game Atomic Heart a Soviet era game with lots of freaky looking mad robots.

Skazz talks about Monster Hunter XX coming to the switch in the summer.

Welcome to Episode 88

Bard has still been playing CRPG with Shadowrun: Dragonfall and Shadowrun: Hong Kong. A cyberpunk meet fantasy RPG based on the tabletop game. Featuring blind ghoul samurai and dragon business leaders. He talks about the differences between the games and his preferred game play style.

Skazz has finally finished Doom 2016, but the big question is; on which platform? He talks about some of the bugs on the different platforms. We also discuss the Nintendo Labo and his kid thoughts on it. He also talks about the battle royal game Radical Heights, style after an 80s game show which reward ‘smashing through the window’ gameplay and we discuss the weirdness between fanbases.

TheSuffolkRam has been revisiting Alien: Isolation. an Horror games based on the first alien film, he talks about the learning AI of the alien and the immersive gameplay. Plus the nerds have a brief discussion of the plus and minis of the Alien films.

Ram give a scathing review of the first part of Lost in Space, discussing silly physics, illogical plots and poorly written plots.

Ram continues with his rants, this time moving onto the ending of Farcry 5 and the silliness of them. We discuss game endings and how very few of them are any good.

We also discuss BBC production methods, diet plans, glasses disasters, what makes an assassin and if there any good games with children in them
