Both Skazz and Bard have been playing Shroud Of The Avatar, primary developed by Richard Garriott of the Ultima series. An MMO with offline features. The pair discuss the game virtues, and the annoyance of games trying to guess your preferred class. As well as crazy fall damage and weird looking NPC’s

TheSuffolkRam has been dipping into a couple of games. The first is Jalopy, a game involving travelling across Europe with your uncle in a car the always on the verge of breaking down, featuring a boot organizing simulator.

Secondly, he been balancing his time keep a city safe and avoiding the Mafia in This is the Police, trying to earn 500k in just 180 days.

We talk about our 24 hour livestream planned for June, and how we are going to torture each other with games.

TheSuffolkRam talk about upcoming Russian game Atomic Heart a Soviet era game with lots of freaky looking mad robots.

Skazz talks about Monster Hunter XX coming to the switch in the summer.

Also, We’re joined by a clown, we discuss watching episode 2 of Lost in Space, motion capturing cattle mating, watching lets play of SEGA megadrive games and the robots of our future.

Welcome to Episode 88

Bard has still been playing CRPG with Shadowrun: Dragonfall and Shadowrun: Hong Kong. A cyberpunk meet fantasy RPG based on the tabletop game. Featuring blind ghoul samurai and dragon business leaders. He talks about the differences between the games and his preferred game play style.

Skazz has finally finished Doom 2016, but the big question is; on which platform? He talks about some of the bugs on the different platforms. We also discuss the Nintendo Labo and his kid thoughts on it. He also talks about the battle royal game Radical Heights, style after an 80s game show which reward ‘smashing through the window’ gameplay and we discuss the weirdness between fanbases.

TheSuffolkRam has been revisiting Alien: Isolation. an Horror games based on the first alien film, he talks about the learning AI of the alien and the immersive gameplay. Plus the nerds have a brief discussion of the plus and minis of the Alien films.

Ram give a scathing review of the first part of Lost in Space, discussing silly physics, illogical plots and poorly written plots.

Ram continues with his rants, this time moving onto the ending of Farcry 5 and the silliness of them. We discuss game endings and how very few of them are any good.

We also discuss BBC production methods, diet plans, glasses disasters, what makes an assassin and if there any good games with children in them

Welcome to Episode 87

We start off with TheSuffolkRam trying to not talk about Farcry 5 but hes end up doing so anyway.

Bard then kick us off property with discussing two CRPG: Arcanum and Divinity original sin 2. First up is Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura. A Victorian era steampunk, where you can play as a special person. We talk about the beautiful music and how to do a steampunk in a world properly.

Skazz talks about Nier Automata, previously discussed by Middlemeister, Skazz misses the fact he is unfortunately not able to shout at him about the game. He gives a different view on the game by discusses how the story didn’t effect him and how and the characters throughout didn’t work for him.

Bard then carries on with talking about his other CRPG hes been playing Divinity Original Sin 2. He talks about the strange cast of characters such as an undead skeleton called Fane and a human with a deamon in her head. He talks about the depth and complexity of the story and the way characters can interact with each other.

We then move onto Skazz talking about Gal*Gun 2, the sequel to the very serious, hard hitting, in depth on rails shooter about being shoot by cupid and getting charged at by hundreds of girls. He talks about the change of mechanics in the sequel, and how it feels like it should by a VR game.

Bard revives and old section by playing a recently released board game called rising sun , set in feudal japan a game about political intrigue and back stabbing your friends. We discuss other similar games like Battlestar Galataca.

We also talk about the various episodes we’ve missed and the various ways to listen to us. We discuss the recently released Kingdom Come Deliverance without any of us having playing the final release and also Skazz’s dinner

Welcome to Episode 86

Bard starts us off this podcast talking about the latest DLC for Armelllo, the turn bases tabletop like strategy games which we discussed a few episodes ago. He discusses the new characters including the previously kick starter exclusive ones, as well as the unlock system within the game and some of the general improvements.

Skazz has still been playing game amazingly, this time with Dragon Born Xenoverse a 3D arena fighting game based on the Dragon Ball series. We also discuss arcade game machines in the home and how well some games have aged over time.

Both TheSuffolkRam and Middlemeister have been playing Farcy 5 game set in rural Montana fighting Religious fanatics. We discuss how the game has been updated and the removal of elements from previous games for the better. and unwelcome addition of micro transaction.

We move onto TV series with Ram watching another Spanish series El Ministero Del Tempo , following a group travelling through time to stop people changing history.

We finish off by discussing the recent data breach (there a debate on the term) from Facebook and how the company you’ve been giving all your data too have been (surprisingly…) using it. We then move onto a discussion of social media in general and how much we are using it.

We talk about the correct method to delete memory from your brain and getting lost in Doom 2016 and how no one knows what Sapphire and Steel

Welcome to Episode 85

We’re a bumper podcast this week with both Middlemeister and long missing nerd Bard makes a return, along with his unique sense of humor.

Skazz kick us off with by talking about playing Phantasy Star Universe, He tells stories of dodgy AI that perfectly replicates online players, racist robots and horrible gameplay and prince Charlies robot form.

Bard has joined the dark side and switched to playing Overwatch. The team based multiplayer FPS from Blizzard, he talk us through the classes and his love of tracer.

When then move onto Middlemeister, who has been placing Wolfenstein 2: The new colossus. We discuss the story line and characters and the good and bad sides of Bethesda games.

Ram has been arming teachers and beating up depressed people in Rimworld, hears the story of his colony including people being kidnapped, the possibility of cannibalism and fires in food stores.

We then move onto an Anime that Skazz has been watching called and anime called Bakoun!! which bring back memory’s of his early days in biking.

Ram has also been watching a subtitle TV series with Le casa De Papel (know as “money heist” in other countries), a Spanish series about robbing the Spanish Mint

We also discuss the recent death of Stephen Hawking and his various TV appearance, and also the physics he did on the side

Welcome to Episode 84

A Short episode this week as both Skazz and TheSuffolkRam have had computer issues that has prevent much game playing this week. This continual into our actual podcast itself.

We start by comparing various computer issue, Skazz has been having fun with Linux, Firefox and Gnome shell. While Ram has been having problems with Windows 10 decided it did not like USB ports.

We then get onto actually games, Ram has been trying to record a Lets Play that failed, so he unleashed his inner retailer with Another Brick in The Mall. Running an out of town mega stores whilst also creating specialty shop stocking soda.

Skazz has also been playing Immortal Redneck livestrream and talks about the built in twitch integration and fighting his way to tops of pyramids with the gaming public trying to trolls him.

We learn Skazz method of controlling children by withholding games and how they are bypassing them.

Welcome to Episode 83

Middlemeister returns for a guest appearance in his cardigan! TheSuffolkRam kicks us off talking about Delta Force Land Warrior, a game from the ancient year of 2000 that is not very good and makes us feel old. but does help us have nostalgia over old game mechanics. We also find out Ram’s early mission creation days.

Middlemeister has been playing recently released switch version of an indie game called Owlboy. A Metroidvania style game with great story, art and music. Following the life of useless owlboy Otis and his fight against pirates.

Skazz has been technical issues with his PS4 preventing from him playing the game he would like, he talks about his steps to fix his PlayStation. But his problems lead him to using an old laptop and installing SteamOS. We talk about the good and bad of the OS and some ways around a few of its issues.

Ram has also been playing through Abzu, a game mainly about swimming that very pretty and ideal when you’re either drunk or tired. He talks about swimming with whales and problematic controls.

We then move onto a TV series with TheSuffolkRam shocking Skazz by watching the subtitled anime Attack On Titan.  Set in a world where humans are have been driving to living behind giant walls to avoid being eaten by Titans.

Middlemeister has been watching a better Star Trek show the Star Trek: Discovery with The Orville. Seemingly a comedy it soon moves into more Drama territory with later episodes.

We also have a user submitted topic with discussing Red Dwarf turning 30 years old recently. We talk about the up and downs of the various series and some of our favourite moments.

We then move onto the news with the revamped wishlist on Steam, we also talk about other game services such as the dreaded Games for Windows Live

We also discuss the big news of sugar reduction in Irn Bru.

Welcome to Episode 82

Skazz kicks us off by talking about Monster Hunter: World, He talks about the simplified mechanics and his dislike of them, but also how the map system has improved. And also team combat.

TheSuffolkRam has been fighting to not be eaten in Tooth and Tail, An RTS game designed to be played with a controller. He talks about the unique mechanics and method of playing the game, plus the dark backstory of the world.

Skazz and TheSuffolkRam have both been getting back into Pen and Paper RPGs, They have a look through what in the Dungeons and Dragons Starter Set as well as the Player Handbook, and Skazz talks about other systems with White Box and Basic Fantasy. We talk about the advantages and disadvantages of pen and paper over computer games.

We also spend some time discussing Morrowind

Welcome to Episode 81

Apologies in advance for the quality of the Audio, something was making an annoying background hum that we could not figure out.

We kick off with TheSuffolkRam discussing his experiences with the Steam Link and Steam Controller, setting it up and trying games with it. He also talks about problems with different resolutions and firewalls.

Ram has also been playing Life is Strange: Before the Storm, the prequel to the first game (there will be SPOILER for the first game). he discusses the development of the main character Chloe Price and the “Backchat” system replacing the previous games time manipulation powers.

We look at the recent announcement of the Nintendo Labo cardboard accessories for the switch. We talk about the target market and our thoughts on its value for money.

We discuss Skazz streaming trials and his “problem” with PC’s. We talk about problems with threat progression in tv/game series and how tv series deal with it using Dragon BallZ, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Breaking Bad as examples

Welcome to Episode 80 and a Happy new year!

TheSufoflkRam kicks off with some spoilers for the previous dishonoured game by talking about Dishonoured: Death of the Outsider, We talk about the special power of the main character including stealing peoples faces and talking to rats. as well the joyful loss of the chaos system.

Skazz has been playing previously discussed game The Long Dark, he’s not found it quite as challenging as when Ram played it but is looking forward to trying it at a hard difficulty.

We compare our hauls from the recent steam sale, Skazz has been reserved this time by only buying 80 games compared to Ram’s pathetic haul of 24.

We then talk about the big news of the recent Intel hardware hack that been found with Spector and Meltdown. We badly describe how the attack works and what this means for the average user. Plus how people should be concerned about the Internet of Things.

We then look at our game of the year, we have a couple choices each. one from this 2017, and one we played for the first time in 2017. Skazz picks Splatoon 2, Dragonball Xenoverse 2 and Spec Ops The Line. Ram goes for Orwell and Prey.

We finish off with Skazz giving us the low down on his new rig
